Scope and Contents

From the Collection: This small collection of letters was assembled by Benjamin W. Austin, often functioning as secretary of the Trinity Historical Society in Dallas, Texas, 1885-1894. The letters are from physicians, several of them eclectic or homeopathic, accepting honorary or non resident membership in the society and responding to Austin's request for autographs, photographs, and pamphlets. Some biographical data is included.
