Content Description This small collection consists of a document describing the personality and character traits of W. K. Scholz based on a phrenological examination by James van Arsdale in 1860. The character reading is printed, with handwritten notes in the margins and other markings.

Overview This collection consists of two scrapbooks containing informational illustrations and pamphlets about a variety of health topics. Allergy testing and gastrointestinal maladies comprise the bulk of the material. Materials include charts to inform proper caloric intake, color illustrations of various diseases, and charts to help differentiate between diseases with similar symptoms. Not much is known about Joseph Ulman. This collection was discovered during a survey in the summer and fall of 2015.

Cederström on Augsut 19, 1880. The character reading is printed, with handwritten notes in the margins and other markings. The cover of the pamphlet includes the phrenological character of Cederström, given by O. S. Fowler.

Scope and Contents A chart created by the United States Surgeon General's office detailing the components of daily meals for full diets and half diets; perhaps meant to guide hospitals in feeding patients.

At the top of the document, it states: "Articles composing the different diets for the day - Avoirdupois weight."
