Notes taken from lectures by William Darrach at the University of Pennsylvania by C. G. Strohecker, 1845-1846. Notes are on diseases, including influenza, yellow fever, dropsy, typhus fever, small pox, and various inflammations. This collection contains two volumes of lectures notes of Charles Michael, a medical student at the Washington University of Baltimore, dating from 1829 to 1831. One volume covers notes from a course on midwifery taught by a Dr. Handy. The other volume contains notes from the theory and practice of medicine by J.H. Miller, M.D. Not much is known about Charles Michael. This collection was discovered during a survey in the summer and fall of 2015
