Overview Katharine Rosenbaum Guest Boucot Sturgis was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1903. She received her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and entered the Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1935. She was forced to leave school when she contracted tuberculosis, but later resumed her studies and earned her medical degree in 1940. Scope and Contents Document, circa 1797, written in hand of Benjamin Duffield, listing twenty-one physicians who are members of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. Reverse contains list, written in hand of Caspar Wistar, of twelve physicians who are not members of the College. Internal evidence indicates list compiled after William Annan became a member, June 1796, and before his death on 4 Oct. 1797.
