Scope and Contents The minutes document the proceedings, reports, and decisions and resolutions adopted by the College of Physicians of Philadelphia’s Committee on the Revision of the Pharmacopoeia (1877-1880), 1877 Oct. 20-[1880?] Apr. 17 (pp. 1-47). The volume also includes minutes of the College’s Committee on the Revision of the Pharmacopoeia (1888-1890), [1888?] Oct. 25-1889 Nov. 26 (pp. 49-57).

Scope and Contents The collection contains reports, generally undated, documenting the work of the Committee on the Revision of the Pharmacopoeia, 1877-1880. Each report, filed alphabetically by Latin name, concerns a specific preparation or substance and defines, describes, and details the method of producing the substance.
