Overview The Women’s Committee of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia was organized in 1971 by Mrs. Frank Elliott to promote the welfare of the College through volunteer activities, publicity, and financial support. Scope and Contents Deed of trust, 1914 Jan. 3, between the Trustees of the Nathan Lewis Hatfield Prize and Lectureship of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia and executors of the Hatfield estate, amending the 1898 original document. The amendment allows the trust to be used to fund a lectureship rather than a prize for original research in medicine.

Overview The William F. Jenks Memorial Trust was established in 1885 by Helen F. Jenks to honor the memory of her husband. The trust placed $5000 under the care of three trustees who would see that the income from the trust generated a cash prize to be awarded every three years in an essay competition sponsored by the College of Physicians of Philadelphia.
