This is a collection of the papers of Lawrence C. Parish. Materials include: correspondence, minutes, and reports from his time on the American Academy of Dermatology /National Program for Dermatology Task Force on the History of Dermatology; correspondence related to his chapter in Controversies in Dermatology; correspondence, reports, manuscripts, printed articles, and patient information related to his Decubitus ulcer study; planning documents, correspondence, and receipts related to the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology's Louis A. Duhring Centennial meeting in 1976; correspondence related to the establishment and funding of AAD's archival collection at the College of Physicians of Philadelphia; a program for a meeting of the Philadelphia Dermatological Society; correspondence and planning materials related to the Cutaneous Infestation of Man and Animal Symposium; and minutes, correspondence, press releases, and lists of registrants from several congresses of the International Society of Tropical Dermatology.

Biographical/Historical note
Lawrence Charles Parish attended the University of Michigan and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1963. Parish is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology and Cutaneous Biology at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and the Director of the Jefferson Center for International Dermatology.
