Several accounts charged for vaccinations and examinations of patients for life insurance companies. Includes farm and household accounts and monthly tallies of charges and fees collected. Includes pension examination reports on Civil War veterans with case histories, 1869-1870.

Theodore F. Breck's lecture notes on skin diseases were taken
at the K. K. Allgemeine Krankenhaus in Vienna, Austria, during
1868 and 1869. The lecturer was dermatologist Ferdinand Hebra
(1816-1880), the author of numerous works on skin diseases.
Hebra's lectures dealt with the identification, classification,
and treatment of skin diseases. Breck's notes also contain
approximately thirty different prescriptions for medicines and
salves to treat diseases of the skin.Also...

Thomas Bond was an American physician and surgeon. He was born May 2, 1713, in Calvert County, Maryland. In 1751 he co-founded the Pennsylvania Hospital, the first medical facility in the American colonies, with Benjamin Franklin, and also volunteered his services there as both physician and teacher. spans almost his entire professional career and gives a comprehensive
view of the daily practice of a country physician in the towns
of central Bradford County, Pennsylvania. The daybook entries
are chronological and provide each patient's name, a brief description
of the medical work, and the charge involved. Many entries
refer to pages in a ledger which has not survived as part of
