The text reads, in part: “Sir, The dinner to which you are a subscriber, will take place at Mansion House, on Thursday, 4th of April, at 5 o’clock P.M…. Committee of Arrangement.” This copy of the invitation is addressed, in manuscript, to Dr. M.H. Coates. The other signers of the invitation are J. Randolph, Thomas Harris, C.D.
