Overview

The Committee on the Sesquicentennial Celebration held its first meeting on January 27, 1937. The Committee were tasked with planning the 150th anniversary celebration of the College, including choosing dates, finding speakers, and hiring caterers for the banquet.

The Records of the Committee on the Sesquicentennial Celebration date from 1937, and document the activities of the Committee. Included in the collection are meeting minutes, correspondence amongst committee members, and reports; correspondence with potential speakers; a list of people to receive invitations, and RSVPs, both accepting and regretful.
