Biographical / Historical
James Nelson Miller, New Jersey physician, was born circa 1851. He received his M.D. from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in the Medical Department of Columbia College in 1881. By 1886, Miller was practicing in Layton, Sussex County, N.J. By 1902, he was practicing in Newton. By 1912, he was no longer practicing medicine. Miller died at the Seaside Hospital in Long Beach, Calif., on 31 Jan. 1929.
