Overview
Lester Lovett Powell was born in 1875 in either Saco or Biddeford, Maine. He received his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1905. Powell served in the U.S. military as a physician in France during World War I. He died in 1938.His military service:

Document, circa 1797, written in hand of Benjamin Duffield, listing twenty-one physicians who are members of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. Reverse contains list, written in hand of Caspar Wistar, of twelve physicians who are not members of the College. Internal evidence indicates list compiled after William Annan became a member, June 1796, and before his death on 4 Oct. 1797.

Thomas M. Boulware was born in Hannibal, Missouri, in 1903, and graduated from Washington University Medical School in 1926. Boulware was well-known for his work with the poor and Black communities in Birmingham. He served on the maternal health committees of Jefferson County Medical Society and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama. Jefferson Medical College, 1831, and financial records, 1834-1866,
from his Glassboro practice. These financial records consist
